A beautiful Grade II listed building on the town’s iconic high street is being transformed into a vibrant, modern play café - a joyful space where imagination runs wild, coffee is always brewing, and the community comes together.

Taking over the former “On the High Street” premises, which sadly closed earlier this year, this exciting new venture aims to breathe fresh life into the heart of Stony.
The much-loved building, known for its character and charm, will soon be home to a new generation of memories - this time filled with toys, laughter, bakes, books, and those all-important window displays.
Behind the venture is the passionate creator of The Paddock Pantry, known for delicious roasted coffee, homemade bakes, and a warm, welcoming vibe. Expect all the same delicious treats and friendly atmosphere, but with an extra sprinkle of magic - think a fully kitted-out role-play town, soft play zones, themed story corners, interactive seasonal events, and toys galore.

“It’s been a rollercoaster getting to this point,” the founder shares. “I’ve faced a lot of setbacks over the past few months. Promoting the business plan, pitching ideas, and searching for the right venue has been a challenge — NGL — but when this spot came up, I knew it was the one.”
The new play café isn’t just about coffee and playtime - it’s about building community. Stony Stratford is perfectly placed on the edge of Milton Keynes, bordering Northampton, Wolverton, and Buckinghamshire, making it a natural hub for families from all directions.
